We had an excellent time at the 2012 Ohio Equine Affaire. We had our booth along the GREEN WALL
in the Horse & Farm Exhibit area (the regular horse stalls in the Gilligan complex.) Our Breed Demonstration went
very well. A special thanks to Sarah & Sophie Nicol for driving Windmill Farm
Vixen in the cart, Steven Norris for leading in Windmill Farm Mabel and her 2012
filly foal, Juli Fogt for leading in Windmill Farm Ultra, Chad Fogt for the photography
and videography, and Rose Rybek for riding her belgian/paint gelding Tucker.
Congratulations to all of our Raffle winners! Winners of our Adult Raffle were Karen Scott
& Nettie Coblentz who each won a halter and lead provided by Aden Schrock Nylon Harness of Bellville,
OH, and Ronald Leming who won the horse head "Welcome" sign, donated by Chad
& Juli Fogt. Winners of our Youth Raffle were Michelle Reid who won a Schleiss Gypsy Vanner figurine,
and Taryn Milheiser who won a My Little Pony toy, donated by Ronald and Susan
Algire, and Sheryl Hurd, winner of the Vision 4-D Visible Horse Model, donated by Chad and Juli Fogt.
Congrats to Sierra Cardi of Delaware, OH on winning
the "NAME OUR FILLY FOAL" Contest!!! We chose her name "Yoshi". So we present: "Windmill Farm Yoshi"
Special thanks to Walter Stauffer of Orchard Hill Products, for the loan of the set of Haflinger sized Harness we
had on display & used for our harnessing demonstrations. We appreciated his generosity in loaning us this equipment.
